MT. PLEASANT CHURCH REBUILDS

Posted April 25, 2023

On Sunday, April 16, the Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church in Darlington held a special celebration Sunday. Construction has begun on their building after a devastating fire displaced the congregation in 2021. A worship service was held with First United Presbyterian Church in their sanctuary, and members of the former Calvary Presbyterian Church in Beaver Falls joined them.

Concluding worship, a procession of cars went to the Mt. Pleasant Church site for prayer and blessing for rebuilding. The congregation thanked members of the Darlington Fire Department and received greetings from Representative Jim Marshall. Tom Harmon, Executive Presbyter, was also in attendance.
