IN MEMORIAM—THE REV. RICHARD D. ANSCHUTZ

In sadness for our loss, but joy in the sure hope of the resurrection, we announce the death of Rev. Richard D. Anschutz.
Richard was born in Pittsburgh and was a graduate of Ambridge High School. He graduated Geneva College and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He led several Presbyterian congregations and served for more than 50 years. Most recently, he led the congregation of the First Presbyterian Church of Parker from 1982 until his retirement in 2013 making him the longest serving minister in the church’s more than 100-year history.
Funeral and committal services were held on Saturday, March 11.
