Maintenance Position at Camp Lambec

Help Wanted
The Board of Directors of the Camping Association of the Presbyteries of Northwestern Pennsylvania (CAPNWP) is seeking to hire a maintenance person for Camp Lambec in North Springfield, PA. Must have skills to do plumbing repairs, electrical, building repairs, maintenance on equipment, mow grass and weed-whack, operate water treatment system and follow all DEP and/or Health Department laws and regulations regarding the use and testing of Camp Lambec’s drinking water. The position runs March through October. Interested persons should call CAPNWP Board Member Bob Meanor at (724) 375-5926 between the hours of 6pm and 10pm.

February 14-March 29 – Lenten Worship at Plains and Crestview Churches

Plains and Crestview Churches invite you to Lenten worship.
It begins on Ash Wednesday (2/14), and continues until Holy Week,
We will worship together, creating space for God through silence.
Ash Wednesday worship begins at 7pm at Plains, then moves to Crestview on the following Wednesday alternating locations each week.

We are delighted to announce that our leadership this year will include David LaMotte and Jon Brown. David is an award-winning songwriter, speaker and writer. His music has been honored with numerous awards and artist grants, and has been featured on dozens of artist compilations. He is well known as a champion of world peace  and literacy. Jon is is a pastor, educator, writer, friend and father in Jersey City, NJ. He serves an historical congregation chartered in 1660 which is now home to a diverse multicultural community of faith. Prior to accepting his current call he served as director for mission interpretation in the national offices of the Presbyterian Church (USA). 

APCE (Association of Presbyterian Church Educators) is dedicated to advancing educational ministries in the Church and increasing the ongoing witness of our faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is an association made up of those who are serving or have served in educational ministries, as ministers, professional or volunteer educators, or students, in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), the Reformed Church in America, The Presbyterian Church in Canada, the Moravian Church in America, and the Christian Reformed Church in North America.
